Veronica Riley
Veronica Riley has over 20 years of experience in training and leadership development. She has worked in various capacities in the county, state, and the private sector. Most of her career has been devoted to the child support industry.
​
Veronica started her career as a child support caseworker in California. She worked as a senior consultant and lead trainer on the implementation of California’s statewide child support system and several large-scale government IT projects.
​
She later joined the California Department of Child Support Services and served as Chief of the Statewide Training Branch, Chief of the Program Oversight Branch, and as Regional Administrator. She was the Assistant Director of the San Joaquin County Department of Child Support Services from 2017-2023. She has extensive experience in state and local government, budgeting, policy development and implementation, and training.

Veronica is an excellent speaker, trainer, and facilitator. She regularly speaks at state and national conferences. She has a passion for leadership and improving organizational culture, performance, and customer service. She has taken her experience and passion to create Veronica Riley Training and Consulting, LLC., where she provides a range of training and consulting services.
​
She is a former board member and President of the Western Intergovernmental Child Support Engagement Council (WICSEC). She is also active in the National Child Support Engagement Association (NCSEA), the California Child Support Directors Association (CSDA), and the American Public Human Services Association (APHSA).
​
Veronica holds a BA in Political Science from California State University, Chico, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from CSU, San Bernardino. She is a Myers-Briggs certified practitioner and a contributing member to The Center for a Loving Workplace. She volunteers with her local Meals on Wheels program. Veronica lives in Lodi, California with her husband and their two adorable Sheepadoodles. She loves cooking, kayaking, traveling, and dancing in the kitchen.
